Abbey and Matt tied the knot at the beautiful Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield, and what a way to end the year! The venue is stunning - set in woodland, full of character, and perfect for the kind of relaxed day they were after.
They didn't want anything over the top - just a laid-back vibe with a focus on real moments. They were after candid wedding photography with a few group shots with their closest people, keeping the focus on real and genuine emotion. No posing, no pressure - just documenting the day as it unfolded.
New Year's Eve added something extra - that bit of sparkle in the air, a bit more energy on the dancefloor, and the best kind of build-up to midnight.
It was a brilliant day with two lovely people, and I'm glad I got to be there to document it.

Ryan was our wedding photographer at the end of 2023 and I cannot thank him enough for the photos. Having spoke to Ryan before he knew I wanted more natural photos (along with a few classic group shots) and he competent hit the brief. The whole posing for photographs makes me feel incredibly awkward however, Ryan made me feel completely at ease and barely knew he was there.
